Spot on dude.

You need to hit up some NG game designers with this. Would fit perfectly in a fast pace game be it a shooter, a runner or anything fast paced.

Such lovely variety to the piece. Solid sounds. Solid composition and great attention to detail.

2:36 the way you switched it up is beautiful and that melody role at 2:40 is perfect dude.

[CAN (2019 Rework)]

Yo, we got some true 90s / early 2000s vibes going on here! That piano and those drums are beautiful my friend! Has a very classic feel to it and good vibes going on. Getting my head nodding too and your melodies around the 2:30 mark are fantastic.

One thing if I was being critical, let that bass come through a smidge more in the mid section, not the second drop, that was fine tbh. I think maybe when the bass and piano are alone, the bass could come a bit more through and on the second drop, because you have another synth layered, it sits better behind. Not sure. Something about the second drop makes the bass glue fine but on the first half of the song it feels like it could come through a smidge more.

Thank you for the awesome and in-depth review my friend! I totally agree with you on the bass critic, I feel the same way, that is why it was kinda difficult to mix, if I pump up the mid frequencies, then the sections with the sidechained pad started sounding messy so that's why I had it sit where it is. But I totally get where you're coming from, will have to try out new mixing techniques to improve on that :)

Onto the track itself, decent dude. Liking the spaced vibe you got going on. It still retains a groove factor too. One thing that could be better is the dynamics. Like, the groove. Take the groove to another level by letting the dynamics work for you rather than maxing out the sound because atm it all sits very loud, which is cool and what not, but your strength with this track is the groove factor for sure. It's hella groovy. Just unfortunately a bit toned down because the dynamics are quite flat, even though your kick side chains through, it doesn't groove nearly as much as it could if you messed about with the volume changes and overall loudness of the piece.

Just my two cents, hope it helps dude and very groovy! :)

Nice synth and your supporting piano melodies are great. Loving the stereo sound works you got going on with the panning. You could tone it down a smidge towards the 40 second mark, so as it fades out, have it be in the center. The drop is a bit over the place. Quite dysphoric. If that's what you're going for. Your sound is very clean though. The switch up at 1:27 with the vocals is strong dude. Those first set of vocals and your scratching effects are very strong so use those more!

The 1:51 drop is nearly there. It just lacks the punch. Your kick and bass aren't quite coming through. The mids / synths are overblowing the sound a bit.

Man, I'm being so harsh with this review but you have a unique sound that just needs some tweaking to shine / some refinements. Just get the mix down a bit cleaner, so your drums and snares have space to breathe, and it'll massively improve the quality imo.

Great composition though dude.

Oh yeah dude, this is spot on. You got those full Paragonx vibes going on. Very clean mix and nice melodies. Your drums fit really well around the synth and gel the sounds together nicely. Nice breakdown to build section, very honest remix dude.

So chill!!! Loving the intro, especially when it drops into low cut zone around 30 seconds, then it really goes into that 'other' space.

Oh. Your drop. It's fantastic. Absolutely spot on.

I hate this feedback I'm about to suggest but basically, coming off other people's tracks onto this one, even though this one is so much more pleasing to the ears, it's maybe not loud enough so maybe, if possible without damaging the dynamics you got going on, turn up the volume on it some more.

Spot on though with the track. Very synthwave chillwave bestwave business going on! Would love to have a dig at this genre too sometime if my attention span would allow it. Actually, usually I switch off when it comes to chillwave, so you've really done a good job to keep me here through the whole thing and I'm bopping my head to it too xD

Hey thanks for the feedback man! Yeah tbh I'm still not sure how to get the volume at the appropriate level without having the whole mix start clipping. It's something I've been meaning to figure out for a while but I just haven't gotten around to it haha

Ohhhhhhh!!! I know this melody! Boom, 13 seconds with the drums, yes. Liking that. Damn, the chop up is nice too.

Ok, onwards to the drop itself. Your highs are too harsh. That instrument at 42 seconds, could just be my old man ears, but it's a bit too much on the highs. Your synth should be quieter so your drums fill more of the space too, they've gone into the background too much imo.
