Has a nice vibe to it

Great stuff mate, you're really good with the guitar :) Love it :D

LedZeppelinluver180 responds:

thanks dood i messed up a few times but i thought o well

Has potential :)

The beat is nice, the melodies are pretty cool, you should vary the volume on the hi hat, that always make it sound a lot better and gives it a rhythm sorta thing, makes it sound more realistic. The instruments are ok but you could perhaps add a few strings here and there and maybe a piano to give it the higher end sounds? Just personal preference, but apart from this it sounds pretty cool :) Keep working at it :D

CaptainTwinkleToes responds:

Thanks for reviewing. Yes, I do believe now there should've been some other instrument, and that yes, the audio isn't varied enough. Thanks for the tip.

Beautiful :)

Don't really know how to explain it, the use of instruments, the melodies, the backing strings, everything fits in very nicely. Just make it longer!

Sounds cool

Has a very unique style to it, like something out of banjo kazooie or something, dunno why its voted 1.07, its a lot better than that dude! Such a random song but still cool, would fit nicely into a game, keep it up :)

Good stuff

Sounds like something out of a carnival or like the opening to a game or movie, very professional stuff, like the dude below said, its very original :) Make it longer though dude :P Great stuff, keep it up.

Very chilled out

Made me feel really relaxed so thumbs up for you :P I haven't heard the original brinstar but this is just awesome, sounds similar to an artist called Nujabes. Good job dude, keep it up :)

AceIH responds:

Thanks!

From 0:13 onwards...though it might not be recognizable at all until about 0:33. The truth is that about half of this song is original but I thought it fit the mood,

Sounds very dancy

I like the use of effects and the melodies are wicked, the synth is nice too maybe just tweak the volumes a bit here and there to balance it all out but apart from that good stuff dude, very energetic :) love the pianos, keep up the good work

ViceOfFire responds:

Thanks man, I appreciate it.

You're right the overall levels should be tweaked a lot more, but I cant really be bothered going back to this song :P

I'm really glad you like the melodies.

Sounds good

Ye sounds pretty energetic and nice dude :D well done, you should at the beginning keep the progression of the volume going like from quiet to loud rather than at 10 seconds in having a dip because it confuses people like huh wheres the drop kinda thing, the beat is nice, the use of synth is very nice, i reckon you need to upgrade your strings or make them sound more realistic kinda thing, and just work on the structure to make sure that its progressive kinda thing. Just take these into consideration and good stuff mate, I like it :D

Pretty mysterious tune :D

Sounds very original, I love the instrument at 0:34ish, sounds sort of middle eastern, this song reminds me of something out of 300, it would suit very nicely in a dark atmosphere like that. You should extend it further, it would blend very nicely into a more powerful section with like strong drums and percussion, as if it were like a tradgic death or the battle was lost or something. Would be perfect :D The melodies are very nice, haven't heard something in 11/4 time in a while, sounds very nice :) Good stuff mate

ObsidianSnow responds:

Yeah, now that you mention it, it really might work well to bring it to a powerful climax and extend it... I'll see if I can figure anything out.

Until then, thanks for the review, Jewelz.

Very melodic

Ye dude, I am really feeling this. The piano is very nice, the bass note on the piano goes along very nicely, sounds kinda like moonlight sonata. The small variation in velocity is nice too, so it blends the sounds nicely. It ended too soon though, that's my only criticism. I could imagine a violin or a string instrument accompanying the melody and taking it into a new section towards the end, like a more heartfelt but uplifting sound since the end of the song does get uplifting at around 1:00, it would fit in pretty nicely :)

Good work dude, keep up the good stuff :D

ObsidianSnow responds:

Thanks for your input - I found it all useful. You could be right about the violin idea - I'll look into it and see if anything interesting comes out of it.

Thanks for the review, Jewelz.

Back in the flow of things!
