When you double up on those notes <3

Smashed it out the park dude!!!!

Very nice piece with fantastic flow and sustained energy.

Good luck with the contest.

Almost a year since the song and the contest. ;p
It's been a while, but I'm glad someone's still listening and enjoying it.
Thanks once more! ^_^

Cool dude, can definitely see this fitting in the ww2 era. I like your panning at 1:02, you should throw it to the opposite side sometimes. The strings at 1:21 are nice, especially when you lay the extra ones ontop. Actually as the track goes on the extra elements added really fill it out well.

An okay start but much stronger mid section. 1:59 is pure Hollywood style. Noce and snappy action strings.

Good work dude.

Feedback would be to work on your intro a bit. Maybe take those fx at 2:35 and start with them. An explosive or powerful start then dial it back and build it again.

Very cheeky piece! Immediately smiled upon hearing. Strong start to the piece and maintains the energy throughout.

Your Skyrim chants were a nice touch.

Havent much critical to say dude.

Nice work! Very clean mix too, considering you have so many elements, it all glues together well :)

endKmusic responds:

Hey!
Much thanks, glad you enjoyed it.
Really appreciate the review!

Listening to this and your other track I realise your use of sound scapes and spacing is very unique dude.

Has a very deus ex vibe without the cyberpunk elements. Those future vibes / concepts are heavily present in this piece. Like it takes you to a future, unknown world of sorts.

Very cool dude.

Some feedback would be:
- make it longer
- take the extended section and continue to build those string type things that flutter about here and there, early on, and expand them into something a bit emotional, just to bring it into a human esque vibe.

Wow, yeah, i got it, it's a cyborg / human machine hybrid type setting. Where the cyborgs are trying to discover again the human side!

Nuts!

Good job dude and it really tells a story imo.

Very interesting melodies dude. Taking it you played the guitar then layered the synth?

Has a very ambient vibe, sort of on the road thing.

Some feedback to improve it would be the drums. The ambience of the rest of the track is solid, just the snare and drums could blend some more. Perhaps a dash more reverb on the snare?

Good work dude, almost has a red dead redemption vibe too.

Your guitar skills are awesome.

Awesome sounds dude! Reminds me of Infectonator the flash game.

55 seconds is nuts, that delayed arp is very cool!

You should hit up some flash artists with this. It would fit well in a game. Any plans for a longer version?

Only feedback would be to tweak the hats a bit around 55 and during the drop. It takes up a smidge too much room in your mix.

Want anymore reviews just lemme know :)

5TanLey responds:

dunno, I think the length is just right :)

thanks for the tips

Hearing improvements from your last piece. This one is much cleaner!

I like the 8 bit vibes you got going on around 30 seconds.

Cool dude

Composition wise a solid piece. Your vsts and pianos sound too fake though dude :(

Sprinkle some reverb on the ends and elongate the notes between sections. Also play around with individual note dynamics and change the note timing by a few milliseconds here and there so it doesnt sound so midi like.

Rest of the track is cool and your melodies are awesome.

Make it longer too!! Your best bit was at the end with the switchup, where the battle was just about to take off!

ScottJacob responds:

Hey man, thanks for the feedback! I definitely struggle with my production skills so i appreciate all the tips you have.

Very ambient. Had a 90s vibe to it. Melodies are nice and in particular the backing synths that sort of pan to the side, that one is damn cool.

Good stuff

Some feedback would be to make use of white noise risers, not overkill like EDM but still present, to glue your sections together.

Also is there some low end on the reverb? Cant quite pin it down but something is muddy in the lows. Could be your reverb.

Might have to take a look at those synths.

Onto the track itself, this time the beat sits much more behind everything and it seems your bass is the louder element?

Yeah I recognize some of those arps xD

Track itself is cool, would fit well in a flash game with high speed like a racer or something.

Good job again, my favourite out of your stuff is the first I reviewed / your most recent. That track is absolutely matrix!!

Back in the flow of things!
